Eastry events became a constituted community group in January 2022 after successful events such as Eastry Village Safari’s and Eastry Craft Fairs in 2021, organised by Vicki Culshaw and Laura Lewis raising nearly £1000 for Futures for Dogs charity, Eastry PTFA, Firefighters charity, Martha Trust and Eastry young peoples club.

In November, after a successful pitch to Eastry Parish Council, Laura and Vicki started making headway with plans for Eastry Summer fete in collaboration with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the constituted committee, 'Eastry Events Committee', was formed.

While Eastry Events is about hosting fun events in Eastry, we pride ourselves on supporting local charities, clubs and organisations within the village and any profits go to the next event.
Its also a great time to bring the community back together after a long two years of Covid-19 pandemic….

Meetings
We hold our meetings at the Five Bells and Mary kindly lets us have the space for free as long as we buy a few drinks. Please get in touch if you'd like to come along so we know how many agendas to print and chairs to put out.
